An arched enclave of canvas, light outside, dark inside, this piece is inspired by my near-death experience.

Typical of many NDEs, I passed through a dark tunnel into a bright light. Used as a metaphor for any life transition, the dark phase of insecurity and feeling off-balance, a normal and temporary moment we all pass through.  The onlooker is encouraged to sit and experience a guided meditation on breathing and letting go of what is finished and move on.
